I did get a magnet in mine, but it fell out shortly after receiving it. The retractable clip part rubbed the rubber of the top of my phone between the mute button and the GPS symbol. Pay the extra money for a BB one which does not rub the top of the phone, and the magnet is built in.
I got what I paid for. Wrong. DBlackberry Curve 8310 Swivel Rotating Belt Clip Cell Phone Holster - Black Hard Plastic Holster Clipon't buy it. It lasted 1 week after my shirt got entangled in the clip and it broke. I had a leather one and thought I would be smart by paying less for something that would have the exact same function. Curiously, the one I had (with the same swivel rotating belt clip broke after 1 year of use and I had my shirt entangled on it so many times.Advice.
The belt clip fit the Blackberry Curve perfectly; however, the clip broke within a week.
Item description and images did not indicate that there was no magnet. Magnet is necessary to make blackberry enter "sleep" mode.
This plastic holster clip is small, not bulky, and allows you to grab & return your BB to the holster with one hand. This holster is much more handy than the leather non-clip case that comes in the box with the BB Curve 3310. Exactly what I needed.
